Who judges
Three Content judges and three Music judges score every entry on the same four categories. That human score is the only thing that qualifies an entry.
How judging works
- Judges score the Student PSA, the Success Sequence, listenability and artistic execution, and engagement and creativity. Every score carries a written comment.
- A judge never scores a student they have coached, are related to, or support. The assignment is made by the system, not chosen.
- Every judge sends a calibration set before their scores count, and an administrator certifies them. Panels that disagree with themselves are reviewed, and nothing is quietly discarded.
- Celebrity judges score the finalists at the Finale, blind to votes and views until their score is locked. Money and popularity never move a score.
