Sponsor questions
Status: DRAFT. This page describes a pilot. It contains no example sponsors, no testimonials,
and no performance history, because none exist yet. It will not contain invented ones.
A business that funds student entries. Sponsorship covers the real cost of running a student
through the contest — roughly $100 per first entry: a contestant T-shirt (about $25), human
coaching (about $30), AI tool access (about $15), and judging (about $30).
Every eligible student’s first entry is sponsor-funded, so it costs the student nothing.
Advertising placement on 0Skips-owned surfaces: the fan dashboard, the Support Crew
dashboard, contest pages, email, the Finale, and regional pages.
Attribution and reporting in Sponsor Backstage: impressions, clicks, referrals, QR scans,
verified redemptions, and — where a student generated the lead — which student brought you in.
Community impact reporting: how many students your sponsorship funded, and what they did.
Boost Points, at $1,000 and above. See below.
What a sponsor does not get: ad placement inside a student’s video. Sponsors fund the 0Skips
ecosystem, not the student’s creative work. There are no sponsor logos, sponsor messages, or
donation asks inside the required student video or its outro. That boundary is deliberate and it
is not negotiable — it protects the students, and it protects you from being the brand that put
an ad in a 14-year-old’s art.
What is the T-Shirt Coupon Program?
An opt-in program that turns 0Skips fans into measurable foot traffic.
- You set up an offer — a percentage off, a dollar amount off a minimum purchase, a free item,
whatever you choose — and name your participating locations.
- A fan or participant wearing an official 0Skips T-shirt shows it at your location and gets
the offer.
- They upload a photo of the receipt.
- After we verify it, they earn a recognition badge. Nobody earns Boost Points for spending money.
- Your Sponsor Backstage report shows verified redemptions and verified purchase totals.
Offer changes take effect the next day, not immediately. If a fan saw your offer this morning
and is driving to you this afternoon, they get the offer they saw. Sponsor Backstage shows you
your current offer and your pending one side by side.
You can pause, edit, or replace an offer any time. The next-day rule applies to all of it.
Qualifying business sponsors at $1,000 or more receive Boost Points as an included perk. They
are the only way an organization receives Boost Points without earning them through participant
actions, and individuals cannot buy them at all.
Allocation rules (locked 2026-09-05): 10 Backstage Boost Points per $1 of sponsorship per
week, use-it-or-lose-it (unused points expire Sunday at 11:59 pm Mountain Time); and 100 Boost
Points per $1 of sponsorship for Finale allocation. Administrators hold these as settings.
What Boost Points cannot do, for anyone including you:
- They cannot affect whether a student’s entry qualifies.
- They cannot affect who becomes a finalist. Judges decide that on the rubric.
- They are not votes. Voting is a separate system.
- They are not a college savings contribution. That is a third separate system.
At the live Finale, allocated Boost Points help decide which of the already-selected finalists
wins, at a weight an administrator sets. That is the one place they touch an outcome, and it is
after judging is finished.
A $50 business sponsorship can satisfy a student’s Entry Challenge, but it does not qualify
that business for the Boost Point perk. That threshold is $1,000.
A goal, and we will only ever state it as a goal.
0Skips aims to earn a larger share of your existing social advertising budget by working toward
delivering roughly 125% of the value you are currently getting from that spend, measured
across impressions, clicks, engagement, and where we can track it, conversions.
That is a target we are building toward. It is not a guarantee, it is not a contractual
commitment, and we have no history to point at yet because this is a pilot. Anyone at 0Skips who
presents it as a promise is doing it wrong.
How do I know the numbers are real?
Ad events are counted on 0Skips-owned surfaces with no personal data attached — no names, no
profiles, no cross-site tracking. YouTube figures come from YouTube’s own public statistics. The
T-shirt program reports verified receipts, which is an actual purchase, not an impression.
Where we cannot track something, the report says so rather than estimating.
Do not take an answer to that from a FAQ page. Ask your accountant, and ask us for the current
paperwork. [not final — 0Skips’ organizational and tax status must be stated by counsel before
this page publishes.]
No. Sponsors see aggregate impact and their own attribution data. Sponsors never see a student’s
real name, contact details, shipping address, family financial information, drafts, coaching
feedback, or scores.
Can I put my logo on the site?
Yes, on 0Skips-owned surfaces, once your sponsorship is active and you have given us the assets
and written permission to use them. Until then your name does not appear anywhere, including in
mockups. We do not use placeholder logos.
